Connect

Getting connected is up to you.  Come to Meet and Eat or Out-to-Lunch Sunday.  Join a Bible study:  Sunday nights in home groups and Wednesday evening at church.  Check out Get Involved to see other ways to connect.

Meet & Eat

Meet and Eat provides a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where people have an opportunity to ask questions about our church and to interact with others from Harmony. Our Pastors also attend these gatherings and it is a great way to meet them personally.

Meet and Eat organizes a dinner 3-4 times a year in the cafeteria following the 11 a.m. service. There is no cost for the meal, but reservations are required and times will be announced during both church services.

To sign up for Meet and Eat or for more information, fill out the form to the left.

Out-to-Lunch Sunday

We all know people in the church that are new, or maybe they’ve been here for years, but we’ve just never taken the time to get to know them. On the 3rd Sunday of each month, we are encouraging you to invite someone over to your house for lunch, take them out to a restaurant, or join Pastor Dave and Rachel downstairs for a covered dish lunch after church. Let’s all grow in our love and friendship with one another! It starts with you, so reach out and invite someone “Out to Lunch.”

Small Groups

Harmony Baptist Church small group Bible studies meet throughout the month around Orange County. Some meet with those who live close to one another; others meet with those who have something in common. Any and all family groups – single, married, married with children, single with children, empty-nesters, and retired are welcomed. These groups welcome children though some homes are obviously more conducive to their needs. They usually go off and play together, building a community of their own as they do so very naturally while the adults create a community of their own. Through sharing our feelings and thoughts, praying with and loving one another, crying together and laughing together around the study of the Bible, we build community for ourselves.

There are risks to being in a small group; love gets involved. People see God through the way we love. And, in John 13:35 it says, “By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” In any small group, love is the key component. In love, you make three commitments: to gather together, to study the Word of God, and to pray.
