Community Services

Harmony has a heart for our greater community and provides many necessary services and opportunities to serve; some on a regular basis and some for a specific situation. Our community ministries include the annual Turkey dinner, packaging Christmas gifts for inmates in Orange County correctional facilities through HOPE ministries, plus clothing and coat drives, collecting and donating personal supplies for women in a local women’s shelter, financial and volunteer support for MyChoice Pregnancy Care Center, and in 2010, we offered free coffee to shoppers on Black Friday. Together we have fun as we meet some big and some small needs in our community.

Thirst No More Cafe

Thirst No More Café is a bi-monthly coffeehouse that provides a relaxing atmosphere for people to learn about Jesus Christ through music, testimony, and fellowship. It is a great venue for a night out to enjoy great music, desserts, and warm beverages. Admission is free.

We meet on the third Saturday, every other month, from 7-9 p.m. in the church cafeteria.

Harmony Helpers

Harmony Helpers is a group of ladies with big hearts and willing hands who meet together the 3rd Thursday of each month for spiritual growth, prayer, fun, food, and fellowship. We have worked to make “help” the main part of Harmony “Help”ers. This group also is in charge of several outreach activities such as Samaritan’s Purse shoe boxes, “Angel Tree” for children at Christmas, food baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas, making Christmas gifts for our missionaries, meals for those who are sick when needed and at a time of loss. All ladies are welcome to come and become “Caregivers,” reaching out to those in need.    (Photo is of gifts packed and ready to be delivered to the Battered Women's Shelter.)
